Service Administrator – Staffordshire

Full and Part-time role available

A fantastic opportunity has become available for an enthusiastic and highly organised individual to support the Healthy Communities Integrated Lifestyle Service in Staffordshire.  Working closely with the Service Manager and existing Team Managers, you will provide critical administrative support to our multidisciplinary team of health professionals.

The Administrator will take responsibility of and provide support for, a range of tasks including (but not limited to) coordinating online bookings, adding new clinics, promoting services, systems support, organisation of training courses, minute taking, managing booking page and website, conducting telephone calls, event planning support, stoke-take, inventory and equipment orders, data entry and collection, email communications, recruitment support, and general administrative duties. The role may include some community engagement via service promotion at occasional events. The right candidate may also be trained to deliver NHS Health Checks too.

The successful candidate must be competent in using Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, and be able to learn how to use our CRM systems quickly and efficiently. You will be required to help develop ongoing effective working relationships with internal and external individuals and agencies and ensure timely receipt of information and response to deadlines.

The role is primarily based at home (with occasional travel to sites) and with access to our Burton or Stafford office. You must be able to drive.

This position will require the successful applicant to be competent working alone as well as with others. It can be a fast-paced role and will require a pro-active and versatile approach. You must be able to manage your time and be able to respond quickly to change.

  • Competent in Microsoft Office applications and information technology skills.
  • Professional in your approach to work with flexibility, good time management and planning skills.
  • Practiced in supporting a wider team with administrative processes and procedures.
  • Previous experience of working independently and as part of a team.
  • Conscientious and with a good eye for detail and confident in the handling of data.
  • Familiar with current GDPR regulations and have an understanding of the Patient Confidentiality act.
