About this course:
Our comprehensive Health Coaching course equips you with the knowledge and skills you need to actively engage clients in healthy behaviour change, tackling health inequalities and transforming lives and communities.
We achieve this through taking a person-centred approach, focussing on what matters most to them, increasing their self-efficacy, motivation and commitment to improving their health and wellbeing. By using evidence-based skilful conversation, clinical interventions and strategies you can deliver personalised, effective health coaching that supports client self-management, promotes prevention and creates lasting change.
Our course is not just theoretical, we cover the practical, evidence-based tools and skills required for the reality of community settings and busy clinics. It is applicable to a variety of multidisciplinary teams and settings.
This course is accredited through the Personalised Care Institute. The PCI are the centre for excellence for evidence-based training in the Comprehensive Model or Personalised Care. This means that you can be assured that our programme meets the highest training standards. Our course has been assessed against their rigorous accreditation and quality assurance framework for Level 3.
